Applications are invited for the above position in the Consular and Administrative section of the Australian Embassy, Jakarta. The position is a full time position with an immediate commencement date required.
The duties of the position and selection criteria are listed below. The successful applicant will meet the selection criteria as detailed in the attached. Applicants should ensure their application includes comments on how they meet each of the selection criteria and should be no longer that three (3) typed A4 pages. Applicants should also include a copy of their curriculum vitae (resume), and details of two referees who may be contacted if necessary. Applications which do not address the selection criteria will not be considered for interview.
A monthly salary of IDR.4,218,002 will be offered to the successful applicant dependent upon qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated skill.

Duty Number:
1. Provide day to day administrative services to the finance section in accordance with appropriate guidelines and regulations;
2. Assist with the calculation, processing and management of accounts receivable and accounts payable;
3. Respond to internal and external queries on accounts issues, and provide appropriate reports to attached agencies as required;
4. Carry out examination of accounts for specified agencies to ensure correctness of claims. Enter claim, process incoming FMA 001’s and FMA 002’s into SAP to enable PCO to make payments;
5. Create or amend Vendor and customer Master Records on SAP;
6. Assist in arranging official travel for Embassy that staff and official visitors as required, input Movement Requisition Forms into MS Access database;
7. Other duties as directed.
All duties are carried out with due regard to the requirements and expectations of the Service Level Agreement.

Qualifications : Good oral and written English, previous accounting experience
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
2. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to make sound decision with minimal supervision.
3. Ability to co-operate and communicate effectively as part of a team and contribute to good working relations among accounting staff
4. Familiar with SAP and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel.
5. Sound knowledge of basic accounting
6. Ability dealing with people, honest, patient and calm.
Addressing the Selection Criteria
* Outline your skills and abilities that relate to the criterion you are addressing.
* Do not simply address the criterion by saying that you possess the required skills but highlight your skills, experiences and achievements. Describe how you utilise these skills and provide examples.
* Think broadly and diversely when addressing the criterion. For example: if the criterion relates to an employer seeking a person with good communication skills, think about the different forms of communication (in person, in writing, over the telephone and communicating with persons from different ethnic backgrounds/cultures, language barriers, non verbal communication skills etc).
